Nike Air Presto Faze - Size 9.5 (2001)

- 8.5/10 condition: fully intact with moderate mudguard separation & slight tread wear on the outsoles - in very good preowned vintage condition for being 22 years old; quite likely wearable, but do so at your own discretion on account of age

- features open-loop polyester mesh uppers with contrast piping, synthetic suede O-ring heel pulls with 3M reflective stripes, flexible TPU midfoot cages, composite phylite/phylon midsoles, heel-mounted encapsulated air units, 0.44 sticky rubber forefoot outsole rings & BRS1000 carbon rubber crash pads; made in china

- this obscure silhouette was definitely a phase (lol) for the air presto, as these multi-purpose runners were already discontinued by 2002; aside from their very prominent midfoot cages, key features on this model were its midsole & outsole units, which had been revised to offer better lateral & torsional stability than their winged counterparts - the the air presto capoeira commercial i posted some time ago demonstrates these updates perfectly, & with some smooth tunes to go with it

- while many of these were manufactured with a silky neoprene upper, roughly 5 colorways feature an open mesh upper similar to those used on the air kukini (the one with the straps, not the bubbles); this pair is easily my favorite one out of the bunch

- surviving examples of these have become quite sought after, as numbers continue to inevitably dwindle as the days go by; a very cool & increasingly rare piece of air presto history
