Mizuno MZ TR-50 - Size 8 (1981)

- men's size 8, women's size 9.5 (26cm)

- no box included

9/10 condition: fully intact with yellowed glue stains and what appear to be a few small white paint stains, but no clear indication of being worn prior; in very good deadstock vintage condition for being 41 years old - while these feel solid in hand with no signs of sole separation, wear at your own discretion on account of age

- features felt suede, polyester open mesh, & nylon uppers, padded nylon tongues, EVA foam midsoles, and studded carbon rubber outsoles; made in taiwan

- originally showcased alongside its peers in magazine ads, the mz tr-50 was the most basic model of the mizuno running shoes lineup at the time - synthetic suede, durable mesh paneling, and solid EVA midsoles made for a sturdy no-frills runner that was cost effective while still being lightweight & flexible; pictured above in the third slide is this exact pair being put through its paces by runner number 654 during the first ever US triathlon series event held right here in my hometown of san diego

- never reissued or even referenced in their retro-styled m-line sneakers, it seems these & any adjacent models have been shelved for good by the brand; attempting to hunt down another unworn pair of these will prove a very difficult task
