- this model was originally offered as a high tech running shoe, much like its predecessors - also like its predecessors, it was quickly (and aggresively) sought after as a status symbol after by the rowdy european youths of the suburbs & working class families alike due to their high retail price tag & how easily identifiable the shoes were on foot.

- this women's exclusive colorway differs from the men's pair of the same era by replacing the pearlescent off white on the heel counters with a flat grey ones, ditches the yellow tn badges for matching red ones, and sheds the black & grey outsoles for a thematically accurate grey & red color scheme instead.
