Mizuno MZ-84 - Size 8 (1983)
- men's size 8, women's size 9.5 (27cm)
- no box or secondary cassette insoles included
- 9/10 condition: fully intact with small blemishes on the medial side mudguard of the left shoe and yellowed glue stains; in very good deadstock vintage condition for being 40 years old - after some stress testing with the help of my good friend @skelfigures, i can report that these are fully wearable in their current state, but do so gently to prolong their lifespan as with any pair of vintage shoes
- features chrome tanned pig suede, polyester open mesh, & nylon fabric uppers, polyester open mesh tongues, RB foam midsoles with injected RB resin anti-pronation bars in the heels, modular cassette insoles (not included), and carbon rubber outsoles; made in taiwan
- advertised as having "more patented features than a 10K has miles," the mz-84 is a very competent pair of runners, as shown by the late marc suprenant winning the bud light triathlon series with a blue & grey pair on feet and "mizuno" painted across his chest; it's no surprise that their great build & material quality, user-friendly adjustable cushioning system, and simple presentation landed them the 49th spot on complex's top 50 best running shoes of all time
