Nike ACG Air Terra Adaptable - Final CFM Sample (2000)
forever overshadowed by its cooler older sisters, the air humara & terra humara, this lungs-era trail runner offers somewhat similar technology in a comparatively slimmer package; the lack of a water resistant upper, more conservative exterior styling. the absence of the goat hoof-inspired G-tek underfoot cushioning system priced these $15USD lower at retail, however this model still never quite stuck with consumers the way either of the humaras did. this sample pair bears the line "patent pending" on their size tags & "prod CFM OK 2/24/00" written in pen on the medial side of the right shoe, acting as a stamp of approval for the final retail release.
not much information about this model is readily available elsewhere apart from a small blurb and catalog scan on defyNY's website, mostly due to just being forgotten to time. a one-of-a-kind sneaker with a very desirable history.
