Jordan Two3 Profiler - Size 11.5 (2002)
i present to you the two3 profiler: a studious, mountaineering-inspired ankle boot of jordan 12 pedigree with a dash of late-90s nike ACG flair. priced at about $250USD in today's money, this model was positioned as a flashier, higher end alternative to timberland's classic 6-inch nubuck boots that had cemented themselves as winter wardrobe staples for a considerable portion of new england residents about a decade prior - i think it goes without saying which boot ultimately had the most staying power.
out of all of the two3 boots, it is these that circulate the most frequently on secondhand & auction sites in my experience, which i believe is a testament to their long-term desirability and overall durability; while not intended for strenuous outdoor activities, these were plenty capable in poor weather, which would result in some pairs (particularly the smooth leather black colorway) inadvertently getting worn into the ground. without any indication of a reissue on the horizon, surviving examples will only continue to dwindle as time progresses.
