- with so many sportswear brands trying out their hand in the timepiece market, it was inevitable that the swoosh would make their grand entrancel; the runner-centric triax series aimed to blend ergonomics with aesthetics, with its signature S-bent, oblong shape & off-center hour markers making it easier to read while in motion, while still being durable & stylish enough to be worn casually
- analog versions of these triax watches were produced in lower quantities than their digital counterparts and thus prove slightly harder to come by in the modern day, although the swift 3h model is more sports-inspired than it is sports-oriented. while gorgeous, it lacks a lap timer or heart rate monitor (which came standard on most digital models) but instead features a functional date subdial: a step up from the swift 3i, which displays 3 non-functioning ones.
- with nike timing long gone, i think it is safe to assume that the brand has no intentions on reviving it; tracking down another fully intact, unworn example like this one will prove an increasingly difficult task as time progresses
